Centerville Primary Village North School named National School of Character

Centerville Primary Village North School, the 2014 Ohio School of Character, was named a 2014 National School of Character by the Character Education Partnership in Washington DC.  The School of Character Program recognizes schools that demonstrate excellence in character education as measured by the Charater Education Partnership's Eleven Principles. The Ohio award is sponsored by OPCE, the Ohio Better Business Bureaus and the Character Council of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Ohio School of Character Workshop Planned for August

A free workshop on the Ohio School of Character (OSOC) program will be held in Columbus on August 5. The workshop will feature a review of the 11 Principles of Effective Character Education, which form the basis for the OSOC award designation. Tips on implementing effective character and school climate building programs as well as how to complete the application for OSOC will be included. The workshop is free, but you must be registered to attend and attendance will be limited.
